Elton John — “Hello, Hello”

Poor Elton. After his 83rd public feud with Golden Globes Queen Madonna, he had to sit in shame as “Hello Hello,” his limp rewrite of The Beatles’ “Hello Goodbye” from the Gnomeo & Juliet soundtrack, lost the award to Her Madgesty’s “Masterpiece.” It probably didn’t help Elton’s ego that the film version, a duet with Lady Gaga, was changed to a solo performance on the soundtrack album due to record label wrangles.
