Some might see it as a travesty that this plastic piece of uplifting synth-schlock from 1987’s cheeseball comedy Mannequin was nominated for anything, let alone a Golden Globe for Best Song, but we think the real crime is that the film’s true star — Meshach Taylor as “Hollywood” — wasn’t nominated for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Set Design and Best Sunglasses.
