Destiny’s Child “Nuclear”: Hear The Fresh New Jam

So much for the long, drawn-out hype cycle — Destiny’s Child‘s new song “Nuclear” is already here. Produced by Pharrell, it’s a lean, sexy jam with the ladies trading verses and harmonizing over a laid-back ’90s house beat (Azealia Banks-wave?) that conjures adjectives like “fresh” and “tight.” If the retro R&B movement hasn’t cracked through to radio prominence yet, it will after these three ladies perform this track at the Super Bowl.

“Nuclear” is the first new DC song since 2004, and was co-written by Pharrell, Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy and Lonny Bereal, who co-produced the vocals with Beyonce. Hear the new single below.
