Wynter Gordon’s ‘Human Condition Pt. 2: Sanguine’: Stream The Sprawling EP

As reported last summer, pop vet Wynter Gordon is taking the Miguel route and self-releasing a series of four personal, experimental EPs. The first was Human Condition Pt. 1: Doleo, which dropped in July, and Gordon on Tuesday (January 15) unveiled the follow-up EP, Pt 2: Sanguine. Despite the fact that it’s just five tracks, it’s a sprawling, ambitious offering. There’s chill-pop in the vein of Solange and Jessie Ware (“Tomorrow,” “Reach Out”), a radio-ready singalong (“The Lucky Ones”) and then the absolutely in-your-face, throbbing club track “TKO.” We’re already itching for Part 3. Stream it over at BlackBook.
