Kylie Minogue is certainly heating up the pages of Madison‘s February 2013 issue. Aside from looking infuriatingly flawless in her cover spead, the Aussie goddess reveals to the magazine the secret to over 25 years of success: “I think you need the right songs, you need to be driven and take risks,” the pop star explains. “You know, you can list the things that make it work but I also firmly believe that you need a bit of luck on your side – a bit of serendipity to be in the right place at the right time.”

Speaking of right place, right time. It seems it was divine intervention that allowed Kylie to land a role in 2012’s Holy Motors. The “Timebomb” describes it as, “a gift from heaven… It was an intense experience and I worked myself to the bone because I didn’t want to let [director Leos Carax] down. But God! I loved every second of it.”

So what’s next for the pop icon? Kylie says that her other 2012 role in Jack And Diane “re-lit that fire” for her and that she “would like to do more acting”. This hardly comes as a surprise to anyone who read The Sunday Mirror‘s report that she will be hanging up her microphone.

Are you looking forward to seeing more the divine diva on the big screen?
