According to a “source,” Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez broke up in November due to “crazy schedules.” However, on Saturday night (January 19), at New York’s Best Buy Theater, Gomez introduced her acoustic cover of Justin Timberlake‘s “Cry Me a River” with a more telling statement: “This song definitely speaks to me.”

A decade ago, while promoting “Cry Me a River,” the second single off debut album Justified, Timberlake refused to say whether the song was about his split with Britney Spears. Gomez was just as vague during this UNICEF charity concert performance, although she did remember to rework Timberlake’s lyrics: “Boy I refuse, you must got me confused with some other girl.”
