Adele Confirmed To Perform “Skyfall” At Oscars

Oh, Adele. That dude she wrote “Someone Like You” about must feel extra-extra-dumb right now. Not only has the diva nabbed a Golden Globe for Best Original Song with “Skyfall” and an Oscar nomination, too, she’s now booked to perform at the Academy Awards ceremony on February 23. Is there any doubt she’ll leave the crowd feeling shaken and stirred?

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Adele will be singing the song at the Golden Globes — which will mark the debut live performance of “Skyfall” anywhere, and her first television appearance in the U.S. since the 2012 Grammys. They also note that the Oscars will feature a tribute to the James Bond films, which would make a win for Adele particularly serendipitous. But with Adele’s recent track record, at this point, it feels almost inevitable. Not that that’s a bad thing.

SPOILER ALERT: Adele wins the Oscar.
