First off: Let’s talk about that picture of Ke$ha you’re seeing directly above this text. Sure, maybe there was a more attractive frame somewhere in that very brief video, but would it have felt the same? Would it have captured the essence of Ke$ha with the same dimension of thrilling accuracy? Probably not. That right there — that’s Ke$ha’s rawest, realest self. Take a good, long look. Pop’s true queen is a flawless, primitive beast.

And that’s what she’s putting front and center in her new MTV documentary series My Crazy Beautiful Life, which she previewed via the above teaser; premiering this April, the show — directed by Ke$ha’s brother Lagan Sebert and family friend Steven Greenstreet and comprised of footage from the last two years of Ke$ha traveling and working on her album Warrior  — sounds intimate! The footage above certainly suggests it will be. And MTV promises “drama and madness,” so hey — that’s all we’re after. Watch the teaser up top.
