British boy band The Wanted
are about to follow in their girl group contemporaries’ The Saturdays’
footsteps with an E! reality show
currently slated for development courtesy of Ryan Seacrest
and Scooter Braun
, who’s best known for being Justin Bieber
‘s manager. A press release promises that the show, which will have an “unvarnished” and “nonglossy” aesthetic, will follow the boys as they begin recording their third album in Los Angeles, live together in a house in the Hollywood Hills and talk about how they’re way better than One Direction
. Just kidding! It doesn’t say that in the press release, but it’ll probably happen anyway.
Cross your fingers for a cameo from Lindsay Lohan, singer Max George‘s sometimes-flame. If ever a celebrity relationship had legs, it’s that one.
