Bonnie McKee Talks Writing For Britney Spears: Watch

Our girl Bonnie McKee has been a busy bee, as evidenced not only by Breaking Bonnie, her web series airing exclusively here on Idolator (hey-o!), but also with continuing work on her upcoming solo album. But she’s still penning tracks for other superstars, which she discussed when she hit the red carpet at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night for an exclusive chat with Billboard, where she revealed (!!) that Britney Spears called her for work on her upcoming album.

“Britney Spears called me,” she admitted, “but that doesn’t mean anything yet.” Still, it’s a good sign to hear that after writing “Hold It Against Me” for the living legend, McKee may indeed be submitting tracks for Godney’s upcoming new LP, which means tunes should be operating at the quality level we’ve come to expect from the Holy Spearit, rather than, y’know, “Scream & Shout.” (Sorry, will.i.am.)

For more McKee, check back every Thursday for a new episode of Breaking Bonnie.
