Did You Hear?

:: One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has finally spoken about his split from Taylor Swift and is handling the situation with maturity beyond his 19 years. He complimented Taylor’s Grammy performance (yeah, the one where she may or may not have referenced their month-long relationship with a possibly British accent), calling her a “great performer.” He says he’s doing okay post-breakup (but we’re still available for cuddles if you’re feeling down, Harry). :: This past weekend (a.k.a. The Weekend of Beyonce) not only did the HBO documentary Beyonce: Life is But A Dream premiere, but Bey was also featured on an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter. In the interview, Bey tells Oprah that 13-month-old Blue Ivy is already reading flashcards. And really, it only makes sense that Blue is a superhuman baby genius who will probably rule the world one day. [Pink is the New Blog]

:: Remember last week when Lil Wayne went off on the Miami Heat on Twitter for kicking him out of a game? Well, Weezy has has now been banned from all NBA events. So at an NBA All-Star after-party on Sunday (February 17), the rapper went on a rant that included chants of “fuck the NBA” and claims that he had an affair with Heat player Chris Bosh’s wife. :: Rihanna was the victim of an angry, bottle-throwing club-goer in London this week. A patron at The Box allegedly threw an energy drink bottle at RiRi while yelling things about Chris Brown — had to know he’d be involved in this somehow. Although the singer was not hit, she scraped up her knee in the commotion. [TMZ]

:: Skrillex, Diplo and A-Trak have launched a new YouTube channel together in an effort to “bring back the spirit of early music television for the digital and mobile era.” The MTV-style channel is called POTATO (no one’s really sure why yet). [SPIN]
