Ciara Is Having A “Body Party”: Hear Her New Single
In what seems to have become a case of trial and error for her forthcoming album One Woman Army, Ciara premiered the LP’s latest single, “Body Party.” Mike WiLL Made It (Kelly Rowland, Brandy) produced the jam and co-wrote it with Ciara’s current boyfriend Future, whose robo-chirps can be heard in the background.
“Let’s just say that this record came out of a very sincere place,” Ciara told Billboard, and that intimacy comes through in the lyrics (and that cover artwork!): “You can keep your hands on me/ Touch me right there/ Rock my body.” This is the R&B singer’s latest offering since “Sorry” and “Got Me Good” failed to make any lasting impact late last year. We’re not sure if it’s the right song to end her drought, but take a listen below and let us know what you think.
