Justin Bieber Booed By London Crowd For Starting Show Two Hours Late
Justin Bieber was greeted with boos and tears after starting his concert two hours late in London on Monday night (March 4). Bieber’s set at O2 Arena, his first of four shows there, was scheduled for 8:30 p.m. but the star didn’t emerge until 10:22 p.m., with no explanation from the venue at any point during the delay. However, Bieber is now saying he was actually scheduled for 9:35 (making him only a mere 47 minutes late).
According to Billboard, the booing began around 9:30 p.m., and many were forced to leave early in order to make the last trains home — though the Tube did extend service to accommodate concertgoers, which the venue posted on its official Twitter handle. Still, like, who follows the O2 Arena on Twitter? There were exasperated parents on the inside, crying Beliebers being led outside, and the venue was apparently half-empty by the end of the concert. It was a tragic affair.
Head below to see how Bieber explained himself on Twitter this morning.
last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10..so…
