After doing a retro va-va-voom thing on the set of her next music video, Selena Gomez gets not one, but two covers covers for the April issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The spread was the work of Terry Richardson but for once he ditched his trash-glam aesthetic for a set of classy pics.

In her cover story, Gomez opens up (just barely) about her breakup with Justin Bieber, saying that it hasn’t soured her outlook and she’s still a romantic. “I believe in love—yes, I’m one of those girls,” she said. “Most of my friends believe in love. I went out with Katy Perry [Ed note: We. Can’t. Even.] last night. She’s so fun and awesome, but it’s cool to see someone older believe in love too. She is all about it, and that’s how I will always be. I believe in stories like, ‘Oh, I met him in Starbucks.'”

Despite always looking glamorous,Gomez also reveals she has the “oh, this old thing?” approach when it comes to fashion: “I do not give a damn what I look like, I don’t […] When I’m on red carpets, I’m nervous, sweaty and weird.” If it makes her feel better, we’re nervous, sweaty and weird when we’re on carpets of any color, or not on carpets at all, or anywhere, all the time.
