Ah, well! King Bey is on the cover of Shape this month looking typically flawless and superhuman, and in the interview, she revealed that — gasp! — she’s just like us. “I’m not a personally that is naturally very thin,” she admitted. “I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape.”
Thank God for all that dancing and tour prepping: As Bey explained, “I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again.” But hey, it’s the inner beauty part that counts. “Everyone is not supposed to be the same,” Beyonce said sagely. “Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you you.”
