One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson Vs. ‘The Mirror’: Boybander Lashes Out On Twitter

Never let it be said that One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is afraid to speak his mind (on Twitter). Let’s recap: There was the time he and bandmate Niall Horan lashed out after singer-songwriter Jake Bugg had a few choice comments about 1D. He also chimed in on the truly legendary Twitter battle between Zayn Malik and The Wanted’s Max George. On a more positive note, he tweeted in support of Justin Bieber around the time the Biebs battled paparazzi, questionable fashion choices and the worst birthday ever in London. However, UK gossip rag The Mirror is the latest to join Louis’ proverbial Twitter shit-list. Oh dear.

As seen below:

The attack came after the publication of an in-depth interview with Tomlinson’s estranged father, Troy Austin. Austin, who divorced from Tomlinson’s mother when the now-pop idol was two years old, talked to the tabloid about how he’d like to reconcile with his son, and how much Louis’ half-sister worships the band, and how he allegedly barely tells anyone that he’s Louis Tomlinson’s dad. This clearly didn’t sit well with Tomlinson, who broke a three-day Twitter silence to tell off the magazine.

We’re guessing this doesn’t bode too well for a father-son reconciliation, but to prove that he can let the gossip just roll off his shoulders, Louis followed up with comments about how much he loves the fans and what a great time he’s having on the band’s current tour.

All better, then? Let this be a lesson to all the tabloids out there: be prepared to face the Twitter-wrath of Louis Tomlinson if you decide to delve into his personal life in a way that ignites his disapproval.
