Ciara: The Idolator Interview
Ciara really is a one woman army, isn’t she? The R&B princess has forged an impressive career over the last decade making cutting-edge sonic candy and now, gearing up for the release of her fifth studio album One Woman Army (and her first reunited with mentor L.A. Reid on Epic Records), the songbird is making waves with a silky-seductive new single, “Body Party,” written by Ciara herself with the help of her boyfriend, rapper Future. (Expect a video very, very soon.)
CiCi stopped by Idolator headquarters in New York City last week for an intimate chat about the recording of “Body Party,” what to expect on her upcoming LP, and the process of working with her man in the studio. When the cameras weren’t rolling, she also taught us some choreography from the “Ride” video — because that’s just the kind of chick she is. As we say in the business: Could your faves?
