Michael Buble Teases ‘To Be Loved’ With Comical, Colorful Album Trailer: Watch

In his trailer for upcoming LP To Be Loved (out April 23), Michael Buble The Confident Jokester boldly declares, “People are gonna go fucking crazy for this record”…just before he howls like a wolf. In another bit in the clip, Buble The Honest Artiste earnestly notes, “I didn’t walk in [to this album] thinking that I need to be a genius. I just really walked in with the simple hope that I could string together a bunch of songs that I absolutely was in love with.”

Buble enlisted producer Bob Rock for eighth album To Be Loved, which consists of standards as well as four original songs co-written by the singer. Get a taste for the tunes in the splashy vid above.

One of the biggest influences on the Canadian crooner in this era of his career? The baby boy he and wife Luisana Lopilato are expecting. “A lot’s changed since I found out I’m gonna have a baby,” Buble says in the album trailer. “Your priorities just change… It’s a great place to be.”

Setting the bar quite high, Michael announces at the end of the clip that this is the best record he’s ever made: “It is. It just simply is.”
