Hanson’s “Get The Girl Back” Video: Watch Kat Dennings & Nikki Reed Play Hard To Get
The year of Hanson is upon us! After announcing plans for ninth album, Anthem, and a supporting world tour this summer, the three brothers have premiered the music video for lead single, “Get the Girl Back.” Starring the lovely young actresses Kat Dennings and Nikki Reed, the clip uses Hanson’s performance at a dive bar (they’re peculiarly overdressed!) as a backdrop for a couple love (or one-night-stand) stories. Drake Bell (we’re told) bumbles his way around Kat, with patrons and employees singing along to goad him into getting her back.
The song itself is as playful as the video, a hooky throwback melding ’60s girl group harmonies and brassy soul. Also? These dudes are apparently as ageless as the track’s influences. Check it out up top.
