Avril Lavigne’s “Here’s To Never Growing Up” Video: See A Sneak Peek

Avril Lavigne has offered a sneak peek of her “Here’s to Never Growing Up” lyric video, out April 9. More than two weeks prior Lavigne asked Facebook followers to sign up for a cameo, and this grainy clip previews the end result — a quick run through a fan-video montage, in which a lucky few croon the lyrics to their webcams. (Blink, and you’ll miss Lavigne’s own appearance.)

Aside from her cover of Nickelback‘s “How You Remind Me,” Lavigne’s new song and fifth, still-untitled album will be her first new music since 2011’s Goodbye Lullaby. Its arrested development-celebrating title aside, “Here’s to Never Growing Up” sounds like her own version of Rihanna‘s “Cheers (Drinks to That)” — coincidentally, a song that samples Lavigne’s own “I’m With You.” Check out the lyric video preview up top, then revisit Rihanna’s “Cheers” video (featuring Lavigne herself) after the jump.
