Beyonce To Headline Jay-Z’s Made In America Fest: Miguel, Kendrick Lamar & HAIM Also On The Lineup

Begin the cries of nepotism! Beyonce is headlining Philadephia’s second annual Made in America Festival, and it just so happens the lineup is curated by Bey’s husband Jay-Z. (Little sis Solange will be performing, too. Scandal!) The fest takes place August 31 and September 1, and thus many were expecting Jay and Justin Timberlake to wrap up their joint Legends of the Summer tour there. But it looks like Hov decided against headlining two years in a row, and instead selected Phoenix, Nine Inch Nails and Deadmau5 to round out the top spots.

Like last year, the weekend features an impressively eclectic roster — although, what festival isn’t eclectic these days? For the hip-hop heads, there’s Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (yes, we realize many hip-hop heads hate those dudes) and Wiz Khalifa. For the pop set, there’s Miguel,  HAIM, AlunaGeorge, Emeli Sande and Imagine Dragons, among others.

Interestingly, the lineup was initially announced via a Spotify playlist.

It’s festival season, and Coachella is just around the corner. You can win a trip for two to the festival via our friends at SPIN, simply by having some fun with Instagram! Grab the details here.
