Taylor Swift‘s first task as Diet Coke’s program ambassador: star in a commercial. Filmed in Nashville, Swift’s Diet Coke ad follows the pop sensation as she scrawls the lyrics to current single “22” in a well-worn notebook — at her bedroom, inside a diner and while backstage. While “22” is easily one of Red‘s best tracks, and Swift is charming as always, the commercial’s most endearing moments may be the seemingly inevitable sing-alongs, filmed during a commute, a kitchen shift and on karaoke night. They’re scripted, yes, but they also ring true.
