Snoop Lion Talks Collaborating With Miley Cyrus: “She’s Going Through Transformation”
“Is there any possibility that anyone feels like me?” Miley Cyrus sings in “Ashtrays & Heartbreaks,” her collaboration with Snoop Lion for the latter’s reggae debut Reincarnated. Critics and listeners alike were pleasantly surprised by the song featuring the former gangsta rapper alongside the former Disney Channel star, but as Lion recently said, he and Cyrus actually have more in common than most realize.
“Miley, I’ve always been a fan of hers. And you know, when she decided to go solo and do her thing, it was only right for us to connect, because we both believe in the same things,” Lion said at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards. “She’s going through transformation and change right now, just like myself, so it’s only right.”
