Taylor Swift’s “Red” Covered By Fifth Harmony: Watch
When Fifth Harmony was still known as 1432 and competing in The X Factor, the girl group performed a cover of Taylor Swift‘s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Now six months later, after having covered Frank Ocean (“Thinking About You”), Lana Del Rey (“American”) and One Direction (“Kiss You,” “They Don’t Know About Us”), Fifth Harmony revisits Swift’s discography as they cover the title track off Red.
For their take on Swift’s country-inflected song, the group takes to the same piano featured in their “Thinking About You” cover, which adds gravitas especially to Swift’s lyrics of her blue and gray memories. Watch Fifth Harmony perform “Red” up top.
