Juicy J first gained notoriety as a member of the crunk-y Southern rap group Three 6 Mafia, but in the past few years he’s carved out a successful (and rather eclectic) solo career as part of Taylor Gang Records. Most recently, the MC has teamed up with Cher Lloyd, Passion Pit, The Weeknd and Miley Cyrus, and now he has enlisted the elusive Justin Timberlake for a guest spot on his forthcoming album Stay Trippy. At least, that’s what Taylor Gang honcho Wiz Khalifa told DJ Whoo Kid in a recent radio interview.

As if the Internet weren’t always blindingly hungry for Justin Timberlake news, Wiz just buried the lede and nonchalantly noted, “[Juicy’s] got songs with Justin Timberlake, The Weeknd […] But it’s like a real hood album, too.” This pairing actually isn’t very hard to believe: JT previously worked with Juicy when Three 6 Mafia appeared on Futuresex/Lovesounds track “Chop Me Up.” Juicy picked the perfect time to call in the favor.
