Justin Timberlake Performs “Mirrors” On ‘Ellen,’ Talks Marriage & More: Watch

Justin Timberlake‘s latest LP The 20/20 Experience is still doing pretty well (it’s the top-selling album of 2013 so far), but the crooner stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show to give his current single “Mirrors” an extra promotional boost. Also, he spent an hour there. A whole hour! Nothing but Justin. That’s the dream, isn’t it?

His performance of “Mirrors” was lively and soulful — he definitely has the vibe for this era down — and he seemed to be in good spirits when he sat down for a chat with Ellen to talk about his marriage to Jessica Biel, who inspired the song. 

“Every once in awhile,” he told Ellen, “I catch a glimpse of her when she doesn’t see me looking. And I [have] this moment where I’m like, ‘If you never make a good decision, i you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life, you’ve made one really good decision. Because she’s just — it’s nice to marry your friend. It’s nice to marry your best friend. It suits me.”

Ellen also gave Justin a very special wedding gift: A rather large portrait of her and Justin gazing lovingly at each other, from his last appearance on the show. He said he’s hanging it above his bed. Obviously.
