Daft Punk scored its first British No. 1 with “Get Lucky,” and set the high mark for the UK’s 2013 weekly singles sales with 155,000 downloads. Back in 2000, the French duo made it all the way up to the No. 2 spot with “One More Time,” and “Get Lucky” initially entered the British charts at No. 3 last week.

In their native France, the song nabbed the top spot upon its debut. Here in America, the track only debuted at No. 19 with 133,000 downloads (still making it the French duo’s best Hot 100 showing), but on April 19 set the US single-day streaming record on Spotify. By Wednesday (May 1), we’ll have a better idea of whether the song continued to surge forward stateside in the week following its release.
