Kelly Rowland sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” to kick off Saturday’s boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Robert Guerrero. While her new single “Kisses Down Low” prompts Rowland to be coy, the fight inspired her to flex her pipes as she motioned her hands, acknowledging the American flag.
As the undefeated Mayweather warmed up, Guerrero watched Rowland’s straightforward, but still effective rendition of the national anthem. He lost, but at least he got to see a great performance — watch up top.
Rowland’s new album, Talk a Good Game, is out June 18.
