Yes, the criminally unattractive British vocal group made an impact with their debut album’s Coldplay-inspired anthemic pop-rock songs on their last album, but the first single from their as-yet-untitled sophomore LP, “Brokenhearted,” is a chewier nugget: More Maroon 5 than Chris Martin in its jangly, funked-out vibe. Still soulful. But mostly just really, really good-looking.
The video benefits from a third-act appearance from rapper B.o.B, who joins them for a performance; it’s fairly by-the-numbers stuff, but it might help give them a little stateside push.
Watch up top.
