Quadron’s ‘Avalanche’: Stream The Full Album
Quadron singer Coco O. told us seven things we need to know about her group’s new album, Avalanche, and then we heard “Better Off” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Now the full album is streaming, and it’s just as lovely as we were expecting. Coco’s got those smoky vocals in the Adele/Amy Winehouse style that nobody could ever possibly get sick of, and producer Robin Hannibal melds that with vibrant and somewhat atmospheric arrangements. It’s all smooth and cinematic without overtly copping a vintage soul sound.
Avalanche is out June 4 but you can hear it in full over at the New York Times.
