When Kylie Minogue‘s new song “Skirt” dropped on the pop queen’s birthday last month, it wasn’t quite clear whether or not it was truly the lead single off her upcoming LP or merely a preview track. Equally perplexing: Is this just-premiered “Skirt” visual a lyric video or the real deal?

All we know is that Kylie loves to keep us guessing — almost as much as she loves to writhe around on the floor in skintight clothing, like you see here! Watch the sultry clip below.

If you’re just catching up on “Skirt,” the dance cut was co-written by The-Dream (whose IV was released two weeks ago) and produced by Nom De Strip. Kylie’s been rather tight-lipped about her 12th studio album — her first since signing up with Roc Nation — but she did offer the below quotes about it to website Nowness:

“[The album will be] pop dance but with a few new flavors. Expect the unexpected! … Joining the Roc family has been an exciting whirlwind. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some producers who have been on my wish list for a number of years so it’s amazing! Roc Nation is such a dynamic company, combining many years of experience with a hungry young team. It makes for fireworks and I think that will be heard in the music.”
