Mutya Keisha Siobhan Announce Debut Single “Flatline”

The year’s most-anticipated (by me) comeback is surely Mutya Keisha Siobhan, the English pop trio to beat. (Their history is long, complicated and fascinating, but virtually guarantees that their new material will be fantastic.) I had the rare privilege of hearing some of what they’ve been cooking up in the studio while I was in London in March, but the girls are readying something extra special for their official debut single.

Today, they announced that their first offering (on the heels of their stunning Kendrick Lamar cover “Lay Down In Swimming Pools”) will be titled “Flatline.” It’s written by the girls themselves (amazing), produced by Dev Hynes (amazing) and it’s due out later this month (amazing).

No other details have been revealed yet about the song, but if it’s anything like the tracks I heard a few months back, it’s going to be absolutely major.

Expect great things — and at the very least, a titular companion to Demi Lovato‘s “Heart Attack.”
