Consequence of Sound points out that a keen eye over at Kanye To The may have solved the Kanye WestDaft Punk collaboration mystery. On the VEVO version of Kanye’s SNL performance of “Black Skinhead,” Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo are listed as composers, along with West himself. Previously, the French duo spoke to Rolling Stone about their recording session with Yeezy, saying they provided live percussion and programmed drums, while West “was rapping — kind of screaming primally, actually.” Sounds like a match!

Hard to believe the frenetic drums on that angry, rad, Marilyn Manson-sampling song are the work of Random Access Memories‘ gentle disco revivers. Head below to see the screengrab that proves it.
