On Saturday at Los Angeles’ House of Blues, Cyrus took her own advice to heart when she crashed a sold-out Juicy J concert and twerked for the crowd, this time without a unicorn onesie. “The crowd went crazy!” Juicy J said on Twitter, before he moved to Hollywood’s Playhouse Nightclub for his afterparty.
In return for the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “We Can’t Stop,” Cyrus will guest on the Atlanta producer’s forthcoming song “23,” alongside Wiz Khalifa and, yes, Juicy J. In the meantime, Pharrell has clarified that Cyrus’ recent rap collaborations aren’t the best indication for what her new LP will sound like.
“It’s just gonna sound like her and her influences, but it’s not that hip-hop heavy,” he said. “That’s not what she does, that’s not where she comes from. It’s a part of what she loves, which is a very big difference.”
