Kelly Rowland’s “I Remember”: Hear The Dreamy Dance Track

2013 is the Year of Kelly Rowland, and as the release date for her upcoming LP Talk A Good Game fast approaches, more tracks from the album have begun to surface: The latest to leak is “I Remember,” a sweet midtempo produced by The Runners, featuring a tinkling piano over a propulsive dance beat and characteristically soulful vocals from Miss Kelly before a more aggressive dance beat drops halfway through.

“Remember when you used to lay your head on my shoulder / It made us feel closer,” she sings over the twinkly four-on-the-floor beat. It’s a more conventional offering after the dizzying Mike Will swirl of “Kisses Down Low” and the confessional grit of “Dirty Laundry,” but it works nicely, layered and glitchy in its production.
