Miley Cyrus Covers ‘Billboard’ In A Swimsuit

Miley Cyrus continues her “We Can’t Stop” promo-onslaught by covering the latest edition of Billboard – in a cleavage-showcasing swimsuit, no less. She looks suitably adult and edgy, erasing whatever memories of Hannah Montana may have been lingering in our subconscious. After all, as the headline declares, this is Miley 2.0.

In the article, the “Blurred Lines” stage-crasher emphasizes her new sound and image, saying: “Right now, when people go to iTunes and listen to my old music, it’s so irritating to me because I can’t just erase that stuff and start over.”

Can someone please reassure her that Can’t Be Tamed  – and all previous recordings, for that matter – are actually very, very good? She’s growing up and reinventing herself. We get it. But I won’t stand for the outright dismissal of pop classics like “Party In The USA”!

Miley also declares: “I hate it when people make puns out of my song titles.” Whoops. I would like to personally apologize for this right now.

Do you think the 20-year-old is taking her reinvention just a tad too seriously? Madonna still embraces golden oldies like “Holiday” and she had different body parts when she recorded those songs.
