The Saturdays’ “Wildfire”: Hear The “Gentleman” B-Side Ahead Of Its June 30 Release

“Wildfire,” the B-side to the Saturdays‘ weird, but cool “Gentleman,” surfaced online ahead of its June 30 release. A stadium-ready dance track, “Wildfire” finds the breaking U.K. pop group eying a potential suitor — he started it, according to them — before it draws clear-cut terms at the hook.

The occasional, well, “Wildfire” metaphors aside, the B-side is a playful, yet no-nonsense club anthem that rarely minces its words (“Oh you got the” — squelch! — “and it sets me off”). So while the Saturdays bitterly reminisced in “Gentleman” of a time before 1995, when gentlemen and even husbands weren’t that hard to find, “Wildfire” either signals a promising future or a more fruitful past — you be the judge.

Hear the B-side after the jump.
