Backstreet’s back (alright) with “In A World Like This,” the lead single from Backstreet Boysupcoming eighth studio album of the same name. Back in April, BSB spoke of a “smash” collaboration with Max Martin and the end result is the album’s breezy title track. The boy band and the Swedish hitmaker have a long history together, dating all the way back to 1996’s “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” and further hits “As Long As You Love Me” and “I Want It That Way.”

The man band’s newest single is a straight-up pop track with dance sensibilities, and production by Martin and fellow Swede Kristian Lundin complements the Boys’ classic, tight harmonies on the uptempo summer jam. We think it has the potential to attract the attention of many casual fans who may have moved on from the group in recent years. Debuting just ahead of the new album‘s July 30 release and the band’s 20th anniversary tour, “In A World Like This” is the beginning of an exciting summer for Backstreet Boys fans. Hear it below.
