Miley Cyrus is here for marijuana. In the July edition of Rolling Stone, the “We Can’t Stop” singer talks about those persistent drug rumors – all but admitting she smokes the green stuff. “I did a song with Snoop Dogg called ‘Ashtrays and Heartbreaks‘, so people can put it together for themselves,” the 20-year-old told Rob Tannenbaum. That’s pretty much code for ‘I have a gigantic bong and fire it up whenever possible’.

The twerk-pioneer was adamant in her support for kush, saying: “I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana – people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care. I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed.” No doubt, these revelations will shock some of the star’s younger fans but this is Miley 2.0. And she clearly DGAF.

Billy Ray’s baby girl doesn’t stop there. She continues to sing the praises of pot, noting: “As long as it isn’t illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it’s legal in the state of California. So I’m happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be.” And get as high as you want to be.

As for the pesky molly lyrics? Don’t be silly. That’s just her pronouncing her name so it sounds like a party drug. “I have an accent! So when I say ‘Miley,’ it must sound like molly.” Well, that’s a relief. The full story appears in the July edition of Rolling Stone, which hits newsstands on July 4.

What do you think of Miley’s love affair with weed? Does it make you like her more or less?
