On June 22, Jay-Z revealed his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail‘s tracklist via a scavenger hunt in his hometown of Brooklyn, N.Y. Based on photos posted to Instagram, ten fans tracked down RocNation publicist Jana Fleishman and received hardcover books with the tracklist inside. (One included Toure of MSNBC’s The Cycle, who profiled Jay-Z in 1998 for Rolling Stone.)

So far, Magna Carta Holy Grail bears a few all-star collaborators, including producers from throughout his career: Rick Rubin, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell. Courtney Love also confirmed that Jay-Z will use lyrics from Nirvana‘s “Smell Like Teen Spirit.” While the tracklist did not mention these or any other album guests, it does offer some telling details.

“Open Letter,” inspired by his trip to Cuba and the call for investigation thereafter, is listed as a bonus track. One song, “Tom Ford,” is named after the designer he wore when the New Jersey Nets transferred to Brooklyn. And another, “Jay-Z Blue,” could either be a nod to the Blueprint trilogy or a sequel to “Glory,” his song about daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Check the tracklist after the jump.
