Mariah Carey Teams Up With Major League Baseball For Free Benefit Concert

Mariah Carey continues her summer takeover with a free concert in New York on Central Park’s Great Lawn on July 13. The “#Beautiful” (hashtag beautiful!) singer partnered with Major League Baseball (whose MLB All-Star game takes place three days after) for the concert, which will benefit those affected by Superstorm Sandy.

She will be joined by Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic. According to MLB, Carey will perform classic hits mixed with new tracks from her forthcoming album The Art of Letting Go (out on July 23). We are obsessed with this; you could probably say that it’s kind of like a fantasy.

The free tickets will be made available on June 26 here; the show will air on FOX.
