Demi Lovato has a lot on her plate at the moment with the recent passing of her dad and the new season of X Factor, which could explain why her “Made In The USA” lyric video is such a low-key affair. The words to the 20-year-old’s latest lighters-in-the-air anthem appear on screen accompanied by scenes from a small-town fair.
That’s it. But the concept still works – tapping into the Jonas Jeberg-produced track’s rich vein of americana and nostalgia. It definitely tugs at the heartstrings and adds another layer to the song. This bodes well for actual video, which Demi apparently co-directed. “Made In The USA” hits radio on June 27.
