Mariah Carey Debuts “#Beautiful” Remix Featuring Miguel And A$AP Rocky
Mariah Carey continues to plug my Song Of The Summer with a new urban remix featuring rap sensation A$AP Rocky. He adds a new intro to the old school R&B anthem, which starts off rather nicely when he offers Mimi “a little chardonnay, lingerie and a mink” – ie. things that suit the diva’s exceedingly fabulous lifestyle – but then takes a wrong thing when the MC says “don’t think that ya shit don’t stink!” Excuse me. Mariah’s waste probably smells like Chanel No.5.
To be honest, Rocky A$AP’s verse doesn’t add much to the song. If anything it detracts from the original’s sweetness. However, all is not lost. The BET performer promised Instagram followers another hip-hop collaboration, dance remixes and even a Spanglish version called “Hermosa”. My body is ready. Listen to Mimi’s new remix after the jump.
