John Martin Reunites With One Third Of Swedish House Mafia For The Appropriately Titled “Reload”

You might not recognize John Martin‘s face (yet) but you will definitely know his voice. The Swede’s powerful vocals propelled Swedish House Mafia‘s “Don’t You Worry Child” to number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and double platinum sales. Well, he’s back with another epic club track. “Reload” teams Martin with Sebastian Ingrosso (one third of Swedish House Mafia) and Australian DJ Tommy Trash. It looks like the trio have a hit on their hands with the sweeping dance anthem bounding up charts around the world.

As great as the song is (and it’s pretty damn good), the video is unmissable. Why do anonymous floorfillers (sorry John!) get big budget clips, while our faves make do with a wind machine and a handful of glitter? “Reload” is better than most Hollywood blockbusters I’ve seen lately. There’s a dragon, a volcano and even a snazzy time machine that takes our protagonist from the ice age to the present and back again. I’m already waiting for the sequel.

Do you think Mr Martin has another “Don’t You Worry Child”-sized hit on his hands? Let us know in the comments.
