At just 27 years old, Hit-Boy has already reached the top of the production game. He’s the architect of some of hip-hop’s biggest and best songs of the last couple years, including Kanye West and Jay-Z‘s “Niggas In Paris” (for which he won a Grammy), Cruel Summer‘s “Clique,” Kendrick Lamar‘s “Backseat Freestyle” and A$AP Rocky‘s “Goldie.”

But he’s not just a beat-maker. The Cali kid has such a keen handle on hit sounds that he’s been enlisted to work on the top secret albums from Britney Spears, Beyonce and Mariah Carey. Clearly, in just a few years on the scene, he has put in major work with some of the biggest names in music. So we asked him about a bunch of them for another round of Pop Associated. Check it out up top.
