Ellie Goulding’s “You My Everything”: Hear The Unreleased ‘Halcyon’ Track

Ellie Goulding has unveiled a new track from the studio sessions for her last album Halcyon: The drum-and-bass-inspired “You My Everything,” produced by Jim Eliot (who helmed much of that LP).

The track was premiered in an episode of the English teen drama Skins (because where else?) and features swirling, ambient production that leads into a furious wobbly gallop of a chorus; it’s better than much of the mixed bag that was Halcyon, so it’s nice that the track was put to use somewhere.

No word yet on whether the song will be getting an official release, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it did, given Goulding’s ardent fanbase. Listen below.

That is a horribly edited version of the Skin’s version.

Hey there! I was the one who made this mix/edit version of the song while we wait for an official version..
Could you give me credit and maybe link to my sound cloud? https://soundcloud.com/diego-a-m I also have the original HQ file if you want it.

Can you send me a download link for the HQ version please ?

  • Gaz Jones

It’s not an unreleased Halcyon track, it was written exclusively for the show’s episode.

    • Ben

It is a unreleased Halcyon track :L wrote for Leona Lewis, passed to Ellie and was recorded over a year and a half ago!

  • Jeremy

This is a great song – hope it becomes available to download/buy
