“Without you, I got nothing to lose,” Beyonce sings in “Part II (On the Run),” in Jay-Z‘s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail. In a strange way, she turned out to be right. A Bey-only version of “Part II (On the Run)” has surfaced, and as proof that without Hov, the “Grown Woman” can indeed do whatever she wants.

To be fair, “On the Run” may not be an official cut. Throughout, Beyonce merely repeats the same devoted verses from Magna Carta Holy Grail, which suggests that it was created by a fan who also wondered, “What’s up with Beyonce this year?” Still, whether fanmade or official, “On the Run” has arrived, and for as long as Bey will have us wait until her next album, it’s likely here to stay. Hear the track after the jump.
