Mac Miller & Schoolboy Q Trip In “Gees” Video: Watch
Mac Miller enlists his pal Schoolboy Q for “Gees,” off Miller’s intriguing, if at times unfocused, sophomore album Watching Movies With The Sound Off. For the video, the Pittsburgh native goes full-on West Coast weird (clearly Miller’s time with Odd Future and Black Hippy has influenced his aesthetic). The trippy track gets some psychedelic visuals courtesy of ILLROOTS, featuring technicolor skies, closeups of insects and laser eyes.
It’s all interesting enough to make us overlook the cringeworthy caveman antics heard in the song’s hook. Watch it up top.
