The xx Drop Creepy Yet Amazing “Sunset” Remix Video: Watch
If David Lynch produced an episode of American Idol in 1973, it would probably look a little something like The xx‘s creepy “Sunset” remix video. And I mean that as a compliment. Pieced together from old talent show footage, the compulsively watchable six-minute opus is the perfact match for Jamie xx’s eerie interpretation of the band’s already unsettling Coexist highlight. It’s odd and disturbing but strangely beautiful and ultimately poetic. Just like the song.
