Jonas Brothers Announce Comeback Album Title: ‘V’

Jonas Brothers kicked off their comeback tour a couple nights ago in Chicago, and the “First Time” singers wasted no time giving fans some exciting news. During the July 10 concert, the trio revealed that their forthcoming album would be called V (as in “five,” because it’s their fifth studio effort). OK so maybe it wasn’t that exciting, but not all names can be as good as “Pom Poms.” There’s still no release date for the new JoBros LP, so keep your eyes and ears fixed on their tour in case they unveil any more news.

By the way, this title fits a pattern of boy bands marking their comebacks with numerical titles: 98 Degrees returned earlier this year with 2.0, while New Kids On The Block offered up 10. I smell a New York Times trendpiece!
